


Overview
Humboldt Farms is an Emerald Triangle cannabis cultivator and brand with a deep sense of the right ways to grow flower and community. When they approached Limone, they were looking for a creative agency that could launch a digital and IRL thematic campaign tying the brand to the California Superbloom, a once-per-decade natural phenomenon wherein wildflowers grow at 2x or more their usual rate.
What Limone Did
- Partnered with the Unlikely Florist to create a roving flowers-to-the-people operation that involved crafting local wildflower bouquets out of his vintage VW camper van for passersby and visitors of LA County dispensaries.
- Created an “All Natural Influencer” social media strategy highlighting Humboldt Farms’ core pillars and messaging to coincide with the Superbloom launch and celebration. This included a number of content formats that could be captured, produced and posted in real time as the van made its way around the Southland.
- Creative directed live photo shoots and videography at over 20 dispensaries around LA County.
- Built an email list from scratch using a funnel that saw curious consumers exchange their email addresses for made-to-order wildflower bouquets.
The Results
- Hundreds of emails collected in the brand’s sought-after Southern California market
- 300%+ gains in average engagement and a 10% gain in organic followers on Instagram over a one-month period
- Strengthened brand awareness and affinity in a region of the state where Humboldt Farms had been struggling to gain traction
